Art has been my passion for as long as I can remember. From coloring the walls as a kid, to being a photographer in high school, I’ve always done some type of art throughout my life. I am currently a senior media student at Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School with a focus of film and cinematography. Additionally, I dabble in visual arts, photography, design, and other mediums of art as well.

Although I was born and raised in the United States of America, my parents were born and raised in Algeria, a Muslim country in North Africa. As a first generation American, I am always trying to tie my heritage and religion with my art, as it inspires me to show my culture to people who don’t even know what Algeria is.

Through art, I strive to show the beauty, the tragedies, the experiences, and the truth of the world before us. I want to use my talents and passion to bring light to the different aspects and perspectives of the world that are not shown. Like the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said, “Whoever amongst you sees an evil, he must change it with his hand; if he is unable to do so, then with his tongue; and if he is unable to do so, then with his heart, and that is the weakest form of faith.”
